On April 1, 2018 my work Life (2008, binaural version) was part of the first Festival Eurek’art in Bordeaux, France. The festival took place over three days at the Marché des Douves in Bordeaux (3/30/18 to 4/1/18).
Octandre, a composers’ organization in Bordeaux, curated binaural music compositions to be presented during the festival via an international call-for-works. Octandre utilized the Ideas Box to present the selected works to the audience members during a headphone listening session. Life and three other compositions were selected and presented during the event.
The Festival Eurek’art was organized by À Part Entière, the Association Interaction d’Idées (iDi), and the Diaconat de Bordeaux.
