Numbers
It can be interesting to look at a visualization of a number. For example, imagine a visualization that illustrates what 1,000,000 things looks like. In a similar vein, each of the following pieces is a sonification of a number. The titles indicate how many sounds are in each piece.1

- 10,000 (10 streams of 1,000 sounds each)
- 100,000 (50 streams of 2,000 sounds each)
- 1,000,000 (100 streams of 10,000 sounds each)

1Each sound is 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or 256 periods of a sine wave, with a frequency ranging from 130.81 Hz to 16,744.04 Hz. The sounds are spatialized by varying the perceived horizontal angle and distance from the listener.
