Garden II

Forty-eight performers move in groups according to sound families. There are eight groups of six performers each, representing the eight sound types of the piece. The groups are up to five meters in diameter as they move freely throughout a 50m x 50m outdoor space. Each performer has a tablet computer and loudspeaker that projects generative music (as also found in Garden). Audience members can similarly move freely throughout the performance space. The form of Garden and Garden II differ significantly due to the configurations of the performers.
